Varun’s lake house is a beautiful and welcoming home!
My family and I truly enjoyed our stay, the house felt very homey and was incredibly kid-friendly. We loved all the amenities; there was something for everyone to enjoy. The view was lovely, and the pool was absolutely spectacular.
It was a peaceful and memorable getaway that we will cherish.
The town is just a short drive away. we explored a local coffee spot and even did a bit of thrifting!
Overall, we highly recommend Varun’s lake house. He’s also a great host — very responsive, polite, and helpful throughout our stay.
Can’t say enough good things about the place. My kids had a blast (almost 6 and 8). When i say they loved it, the LOVED it. The TV “room” upstairs is to die for. Must be a 100 inch tv on the wall.
The pool is amazing, hot tub, pool table for the adults, awesome dock (neighbors that can deliver a boat for rent right next door – also super friendly) and great little arcade game set up (my son became quite infatuated with the golf game). Bonus to get to bring my pup who also enjoyed. Truly can’t say enough good things about this place. Plenty of beds (especially if your spouse leaves his CPAP at home). Could easily fit 2 families of 4/5 very comfortably. 10/10.
Very pleased that the place was just like the photos if not better. You can tell the owners have put a lot of effort and love into making it a great place with lots to do. I wish we’d had more time to spend here, honestly, as we only spent two nights. Recommend you check out lake murray sc rentals and get a boat rental, too, because they live next door and brought it right to the dock on the property for free.
We had an excellent time. We stayed 4 nights with 2 infants and a 3 year old and 5 adults. The hosts were quite responsive and provided a baby gate, high chair and pack and play for our stay. There were even kids books and toys. The house was impeccable. The kitchen was equipped with everything we could want. Games, TV’s, pool table, hot tub, pool. It is a little resort. We would stay again for sure.
